On Friday 7th November 2014 at 9:30am, NSW Maori Wardens met with Greg Makutu and Veterans Frank Harlow & Ken Franks at the War Memorial (cnr Great Western Highway & Grant Hackett Drive) at St Marys.  

Mrs Tanya Davies MP, the State Member for Mulgoa, presented a Certificate to NSW Maori Rugby League for their commitment to remembering our WWI Fallen at this years Nga Hau E Wha tournament. This was part of the United We Stand (UWS) NSW Government Centenary of ANZAC initiative which encourages sports clubs to commemorate members who have served at war.

NSW Maori Rugby League have signed up to UWS and are engaging with it by dedicating a rugby league tournament each year to the Centenary and Veterans.

We were happy to attend the presentation and show our support to NSW Maori Rugby League in acknowledgment of their support to the Centenary of ANZAC 2014-2018.
